Virtual Wallet is an android app offered by PNC Bank. This mobile application allows user to control a hybrid checking/savings account program that was launched in July 2008 and marketed primarily to the tech savvy members of Generation Y. The product has three sub-accounts: a "Spend" account (regular checking), a "Reserve" account (backup checking that incurs interest), and a "Growth" account (savings). As of December 2013 the banking product allows unlimited check writing. and had more than one million accounts as of June 12, 2012.
