Illinois National Bank was a community bank in central Illinois until it was purchased in 1985. Then, in June 21, 1999, recognizing a void, a group of Springfield investors and former Illinois National Bank employees came together to set about forming the second generation of INB.
INB is a locally-owned, privately held national bank that operates 11 branches plus a remittance processing center in Central Illinois. A board of directors is elected each year by our group of local investors. All shareholders, directors and members of the senior management team reside in central Illinois, keeping the decision-making process at the local level.
